2023.08.18

In order to improve MRF's management member's positive, innovative, open and effective communication, and to build a spontaneous and cohesive team, MRF organized a management training on August 18th. Anthony Zhang, a management trainer, was invited to conduct the training to establish a new mindset and open up new horizons. A total of 27 managers from Shanghai, Qingdao and Xiamen gathered in Shenzhen to participate in the training.

Anthony Zhang, Management Trainer
Game: Pass the Paper Balls

At the beginning of the training, Anthony instantly enlivened the training atmosphere through a simple game of passing paper balls. In order to shorten the passing time as much as possible, everyone continued to make adjustments and optimizations, and finally found the optimal way of passing. In the process of discussion, we also felt that active members of the team can activate and drive inactive members to think, which implies that in order to stay positive, we should deliberately train our active brain cells, so as to drive inactive brain cells to accept new challenges and seize new opportunities. This suggests that the organization of the human brain is similar to the structure of the universe, the mind of the universe, everyone can be the center of the universe.

The second part, through the personality test questionnaire, to help members more deeply understand themselves, see their personality characteristics.

After the measurement and group communication, everyone came up with their own personality tendencies. Anthony further introduced the four personality types in the test findings to the group and gave a specific analysis of each personality type, including strengths, weaknesses, and how to stimulate intrinsic motivation and how to work together in order to bring out the strengths of each personality. The sharing helped everyone to better explore themselves, realize their potentials, and emerge with new ideas in their work.

Finally, Anthony guided everyone to think about the percentage of time each person spends communicating with themselves, making them realize that each person spends an average of 70% of their time communicating with themselves, so it is important to think positively and avoid negative thinking. For communication styles, open-ended questions were encouraged to guide the process, avoiding closed questions that may lead to negativity.

Through this training, participants have expressed that: in this training, Anthony led us to be more clear about our own positioning in the process of reading ourselves and recognizing others. In the future, we will look at the differences between people dialectically from a new perspective, providing a constructive thinking mode for future communication and cooperation in the team.

Training Experience

Nicole:

I have gained a lot from the character analysis and categorization, I can clearly find out the strengths and weaknesses of members and myself, as well as the methods and techniques to promote the internal drive of members. At the same time, we also need to work on our communication skills and continue to strengthen them. The most important thing is to understand that as a manager, first of all, we should improve our own thinking and positive attitude, so that it will invariably affect the team and lead the team upward together. In addition, it is important to know member well, teach them with care, and be good at communication and listening.

Regina:

About the handling of things and communication between member have a new understanding and awareness, and learned for DICS different personalities with different ways to communicate, different member in the right place, know member and make the best use of the details into the actual implementation of the method. I will try to learn these ways and means and logic of thinking to try to build a spontaneous team, thank you for giving us this great learning opportunity!

Benjamin:

1.I have done some personality tests and profiling before, but today's personality tests and discussions are more practical and relevant to the actual needs of the workplace, thus further deepening my knowledge and understanding of myself. And I know the strengths and weaknesses and the corresponding ways to cope with them. I think the test and the results as a "tool" to use;

2.After the personality test, it will be sunk into the departmental management accordingly, so that the personnel of the appropriate team can be better managed by this method. And with this scientific means will be more effective, rather than simply using the past common sense or experience to implement;

3.Today's training also has its own characteristics and applicability compared with the past. In the past, the real stuff is more, today's around a key content to go layer by layer, there are more inspiration and interaction, the process of which in fact also added to the understanding between members and feelings of progress, so that we can better work with the collaboration;

4.Some inspirations for the day: the importance of divergent thinking; the positive trait of being active will lead to more opportunities and value in the team and in the workplace; facing up to one's own shortcomings and looking to others and drawing on their traits; and not defining oneself can shape the ideal me into the real me.

The training aims to strengthen the foundation of the team, promote cooperation and communication, enhance cohesion and develop the team. In the future, the management will apply what they have learned in the training to their practical work, which will provide a strong driving force for the long-term and steady development of MRF.
